Jim Hated (but also loved) Everyone
He would have hated this event and this website (but also loved it secretly). I don’t remember when I met Jim, could have been back in the Cave days or maybe Barrymore’s for his legendary 80’s night. Legendary for the amount he got paid to do it, not for the music. We talked shit about almost everyone including each other. We both had a dark sense of humor and that’s why we got on so well. His nicknames were Irish Prick, Paddy Bastard, DJ Jerk, Jimbo or just plain Reilly most of the time. Loved teasing him about the shitty 80’s music he played (cool now I guess) all the while knowing he had much better music in his collection. Watching Jim and Trevor compete at pretty much anything was always amusing. As I see all these pictures of Jim I realize two things. Jim was older than Christ and that I may not have known him as well as I thought I did. Maybe that is what Jim did best, made all of us feel like we were his best friends.
